Ms. Smith is a ballet and tap instructor with a strong foundation in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, having completed RAD examinations from the graded levels through to Advanced 2. She brings to her teaching a rich blend of technical knowledge, global experience, and a passion for cultivating artistic expression in young dancers.

As a ballet faculty member at The Fig Club in Erbil, Iraq, Ms. Smith was proud to help coordinate and prepare students for the region’s first RAD ballet examinations. Her international teaching experience also includes working as an ESL instructor in both classroom and online settings, where she developed inclusive and engaging approaches to education.

Aside from her dance experience, Ms. Smith holds an Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree from Western University, is a pilates and barre fitness instructor, author, and avid solo traveler. Her background as a writer and traveler informs her teaching philosophy, encouraging students to find both discipline and joy in their creative journey, inspiring them to grow into the best version of themselves.
