Shannon Whelan is a professional performer, dance educator and choreographer in Toronto ON Canada. She began her training in Ottawa Ontario and travelled to Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Quinte Ballet School, NYC, Chicago, Las Vegas and across Canada.

As a young dancer she completed multiple dance examinations in the RAD and ADAPT Syllabus in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Lyrical. As a choreographer Shannon has received numerous accolades at both the Junior and Senior competitive levels. Her work is consistently recognized at regional and National championships.

Shannon’s choreography has received multiple regional and national dance titles. In addition to her teaching, Shannon is a full member of ACTRA and has been in numerous TV spots as well as the feature film Hairspray with John Travolta.
