Michelle has always made dance central to her life. She started at an early age, and went on to do many exams in R.A.D and B.A.T.D, and competed until graduating high school.
Michelle went on to pursue an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance at York University, where she was fortunate to be able to work with renowned choreographers – such as Rachel Browne, Robert Glumbeck, Yvonne Ng, Biba Bell, and Cirque du Soleil’s choreographer Debra Brown – as part of the York Dance Ensemble.
She continued to perform professionally before realizing her passion was in teaching. She is certified in both Modules of Acrobatic Arts, and has trained with Cirque du Soleil performers such as Meaghan Wegg and Joey Arrigo.
Michelle strives in her teaching throughout the GTA to create inclusive and supportive classes to help her dancers thrive.
